So who's excited for Borderlands 2? I AM, that's who! 8D

So I was prowling around dA to see how many people already drew fanart before the game came out, expecting him to be at the top of all the lists, y'know, the ones that THOSE artists draw.

Turns out, I was wrong.

There are 29 deviations with the tags "Handsome Jack Borderlands", and only ONE of them is drawn; the rest of them are from the actual game.

Huh.

I feel like a Hipster.

I took some elements from both the concept art and the final render: for instance, I kept the cute little CL4P-TP badge on his shirt and the hair, but changed up his pistol holster and the little... badge? Watch? Whatever that is on his chest. I also kept the more rustic tattoo on his arm from the concept art; couldn't find a good reference for the one he has in-game.
